Lauraen was born in Vancouver and raised on Vancouver Island in the small town of Crofton, where she built her childhood around participating in sports such as volleyball and track and field. Her early passion for design emerged as her artistic and imaginative skills flourished during her high school years, where she often participated in woodwork, metalwork, art, and ceramic courses to channel her creative outlook on life. From there, her love for design has thrived into designing beautiful, sustainable, and inclusive spaces, aiming to promote well-being for the planet and the people that inhabit them.

 

After graduating from Vancouver Island University's Interior Design program and gaining experience in the design industry, Lauraen plans to pursue a Master's Degree in Architecture to provide her future clients with a more comprehensive list of services. Being able to follow her dreams and carve her path through life has made her into the confident and driven young lady she is today.​

Beyond pursuing her passion for design, Lauraen loves spending time with her family, dog, and pet chickens. Traveling Vancouver Island has been a long-time hobby for Lauraen, and she hopes to integrate her travel experiences as the framework for the work that she creates.
